I am looking forward to see how our blog sizes up and what amazing things we will reflect on and do over the next year. A little about myself: I am a native Californian, a graduate of the geology program at UC Riverside, and an educator at heart. I hope to build my career in Museum Sciences and Education over the next decade and meet more awesome new people on that journey. I love the outdoors, sciences, and literature and will do my best to bring my experiences and passions to the Museum Apprenticeship Program!
Hi everyone, this is my test introductory post! I'm Hannah (she/her), and I graduated in 2019 from Mount Holyoke College in Massachusetts with a BA in Neuroscience, but I'm originally from Pasadena. I spent the past two years as a research tech at an immunology research institute in Cambridge, MA, where I discovered that the lab life is not for me. I also volunteered at the Museum of Science in Boston for a few months (cut short by COVID), and knew that it was something I wanted to pursue further. I'm excited to start this year with the MAPS program and learn more about informal science education!
